Outstanding was a King Ranch foundation bred black stallion. His daughters became the original cornerstone of our breeding program. Outstanding’s pedigree directly traces back to the beginning of the AQHA, with his grandfather Major having a registration number of 186. His pedigree is packed with arena performance and racing accolades, including great grandsire Silver King (produced 1 AQHA champion, 10 ROM race and 9 ROM arena producing broodmares), grandsire Ponda Menking (produced 1 AQHA champion, 2 ROM arena offspring), and maternal great grandsire Pere Pleme (sired by Macanudo, produced 1 ROM race and 4 ROM arena producing broodmares). Outstanding (15.2 hands tall) produced very big, tall offspring often 16+ hands tall. His offspring were also extremely athletic, agile and had top end speed thanks to his racing bloodlines.
