Freckles Elite was sired by Colonel Freckles, a NCHA futurity champion, an all-time leading cutting sire, a leading reined cowhorse sire and an NRHA all-time leading cutting maternal grandsire, siring the earners of over $4 million. His earnings as a grandsire tally to more than $11 million spanning multiple disciplines in the Western performance industry.  Colonel Freckles is also an Equi-Stat top 20 all-time leading cutting maternal grandsire, 2001 Equi-Stat top 10 leading reining maternal grandsire and a leading reined cowhorse maternal grandsire.  Colonel Freckles was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame in 2004.

On Freckles Elite’s dam’s side, Miss Elite was a NCHA Hall of Fame mare, a three time NCHA World Champion Superior Cutting Horse and AQHA Superior Cutting Horse.
